When Love Approaches
When love approaches you from-a-distance
And you are yet, just-not-quite-sure
Your heart starts beating quite different
A rhythm in response to their allure
Your mind it tries to bring up memories
Of the times you felt like this
Sitting close-together on a park bench
And the tenderness of each kiss
Love it has so much power
Sometimes overwhelming you from the start
But when the first l love you comes
It takes no-time to fill your heart
You want so much to-believe-it
To know that falling-in-love really can be true
Sometimes you lay aside your common sense
Because for love there’s simply nothing you would-not-do
So even though love can often seem so risky
Sometimes even crazy and insane
To keep love at a distance
Both parties really have no game
