Heart Break
When the water
it came
rushing
There was a hush,
There was a momentary
gust,
of wind…
Then you looked straight-ahead-at-me
And not once did-you-ever
blink
Because
your mind it could not
think
That this was
Real…
You felt the tiny
sting,
From the sea-salt
In your tears,
They were holding all
Your dreams
And now they held
All of your fears
But,
they were not
quite as sharp
As when you felt your
own heart
Breaking…
There was really no
Mistaking…
this was
The End…
Down to your knees
You fell like you
had fainted
Your heart was clearly
Not acquainted
With this sudden
Loss of love…
Your flood of tears
That were
rushing
The weight itself
It was crushing
Your heart
like
you could not
Breathe…
Your soul could not
Believe
that this,
was happening
to
You…
